On November 23, 2000, Princeton Light & Power, Limited (“PLP”) submitted a draft application to the Commission to increase energy rates to all customers and adjust the rate schedules for Time of Use (“TOU”) customers; and B. PLP submitted a revised application (“the Application”) to the Commission on December 13, 2000; and C. The Application includes a 5.0 percent increase to the energy component of rates for all customers, effective January 1, 2001, as a result of increased power purchase costs from PLP’s supplier, West Kootenay Power Ltd. (“WKP”); and D. By way of Order No. G-130-00, the Commission approved a general rate increase of 5.0 percent for WKP effective January 1, 2001; and E. The Application also includes various adjustments to the rate schedules for TOU customers. The changes are designed to be revenue neutral for TOU customers at the system average on peak/off peak energy consumption ratios; and F. The Commission has considered the Application and PLP’s December 5 and December 13, 2000 responses to staff information requests. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Sections 60 and 61 of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission approves for PLP, effective January 1, 2001, a 5.0 percent increase to the energy component of rates for all customers and the requested changes to the rate schedules for TOU customers. 2. PLP is directed to provide all customers with information on the increased rates resulting from the pass-through. . . ./2
2 3. PLP is directed to provide all TOU customers with information related to the changes to the TOU rate schedules. 4. PLP is directed to file Electric Tariff rate schedules related to the pass-through rate increase and the changes to the TOU rate schedules in a timely manner.
