On August 9, 2001, the British Columbia Public Interest Advocacy Centre (“BCPIAC”) applied for a participant assistance cost award on behalf of the Consumers’ Association of Canada (B.C. Branch) et al. (“CAC (BC) et al.”) for participating in the proceeding concerning the Pacific Northern Gas (N.E.) Ltd. (“PNG (N.E.)”) 2001 Revenue Requirements Application; and B. The Commission has determined that BCPIAC’s participation in the proceeding warrants reimbursement in accordance with the Commission’s approved guidelines; and C. The Commission has reviewed the application with regard to the criteria and rates set out in Commission Order No. G-23-01. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds to BCPIAC in the amount of $5,854.53 for its participation in the PNG (N.E.) proceeding. 2.
