(“Plateau”) Application for Reconsideration of the Decision of the BCUC dated June 26, 2001 On August 15, 2001, counsel for Plateau filed an Application for Reconsideration of the Decision of the BCUC dated June 26, 2001 with a copy to intervenors. The criteria that the Commission generally applies to determine whether a reasonable basis exists for allowing a reconsideration were communicated to Plateau and the registered intervenors in the Commission’s letter dated August 7, 2001. Intervenors are invited to provide comments to the Commission, Plateau and other intervenors by August 29, 2001 that address the following items: • Should there be a reconsideration by the Commission? • If there is to be a reconsideration, should the Commission hear new evidence and should new parties be given the opportunity to present evidence? • If there is to be a reconsideration, should it focus on the items from the application for reconsideration, a subset of these items or additional items? • Plateau’s request for a stay of Commission Order No. P-3-01 and the directions under the Decision dated June 26, 2001. The comments should address whether the threshold for reconsideration has been met, for each issue as raised by Plateau, rather than the substance of the issue. If the Commission agrees to reconsider its Decision, the parties will be allowed to address the substance of the issues that the Commission approves for reconsideration.
