Ostergaard, Chair ) K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) December 13, 2001 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On December 5, 2001, The British Columbia Public Interest Advocacy Center (“BCPIAC”) applied for a cost award for its participation in the BC Gas Utility Ltd. (“BC Gas”) 2002 Revenue Requirements Application, which was subsequently withdrawn by BC Gas on November 1, 2001; and B. The Commission has determined that BCPIAC’s participation in the September 25, 2001 Workshop and Pre-Hearing Conference, and the preliminary work and preparation on the Application in advance of a scheduled Negotiated Settlement Process, constituted a proceeding that warrants reimbursement in accordance with the Commission’s approved guidelines; and C. The Commission has reviewed the application with regard to the criteria and rates set out in Commission Order No. G-23-01. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds to BCPIAC in the amount of $9,252.60 for participating in the above proceeding. 2.
