On November 8, 2001, Centra Gas British Columbia Inc. (“Centra Gas”) filed with the Commission an application to renew Transportation South Capacity on Westcoast Energy Inc.’s (“WEI”) natural gas transmission pipeline for a two-year period from November 1, 2001 to October 31, 2003, pursuant to Section 71 of the Utilities Commission Act (“the Act”); and B. The application includes a September 12, 2001 Letter Agreement with WEI confirming the renewal of 297.7 10 3 M 3 /day of Transportation South Capacity for the two-year period ending October 31, 2003; and C. The Commission has reviewed the Centra Gas filing and is satisfied that the renewal of the Transportation South Capacity on the WEI system is in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE pursuant to Section 71 of the Act and the Rules for Energy Supply Contracts, the Commission accepts for filing for Centra Gas the renewal of 297.7 10 Capacity on WEI’s system in accordance with the September 12, 2001 Letter Agreement with WEI for the two-year period ending October 31, 2003.
