Ostergaard, Chair ) P.G. Bradley, Commissioner ) R.D. Deane, Commissioner ) February 21, 2002 K.L. Hall, Commissioner ) N.F. Nicholls, Commissioner ) O R D E R WHEREAS: A. The Commission, by Order No. G-16-01, approved for BC Gas Utility Ltd. (“BC Gas”) Rate Schedule 6 Tariff Supplement No. C-1 with Beach Place Ventures Ltd. (“Beach Place”) for natural gas for vehicles (“NGV”) service from December 16, 1999 to December 15, 2001, at Beach Places NGV compressor in Vancouver, B.C. The Tariff Supplement was extended to February 15, 2002 by Order No. G-131-01; and B. On February 15, 2002, BC Gas applied for approval for a further extension to the expiry date of the Beach Place Tariff Supplement until August 15, 2002 as negotiations between BC Gas and Beach Place for a new NGV service agreement are continuing. In a letter dated February 15, 2002 Beach Place (also known as Black Top Cabs Ltd.) advised BC Gas that an extension to August 15, 2002 is appropriate; and C. The Commission has reviewed the Application and finds that an extension to the current Tariff Supplement is required. NOW THEREFORE the Commission approves for BC Gas an extension to the expiry date of the NGV Service Agreement, Tariff Supplement No. C-1 with Beach Place to August 15, 2002.
