Rowbotham, Commissioner ) O R D E R WHEREAS: A. The Commission, by Order No. G-67-01, approved market based commodity rates for BC Gas Utility Ltd. (“BC Gas”) for the 2001/02 gas contract year. Rates for the Daily Index Option under Rate Schedules 7 and 14 included a market factor of $0.15/GJ; and B. On September 26, 2001, BC Gas requested Commission approval of a reduction in the market factor for Rate Schedules 7 and 14 for the 2001/02 gas contract year, to the greater of Cdn$0.05 per gigajoule or cost, in order to reflect current market conditions; and C. The Commission has considered the application and is satisfied that the market factor should be changed. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves for BC Gas for the 2001/02 gas contract year, a market factor equal to the greater of Cdn$0.05 per gigajoule or cost, to be included in the Daily Index Option rate under Rate Schedule 7 and the Daily Index Option rate and the Monthly Index Option rate under Rate Schedule 14. 2. The Commission will accept for BC Gas, subject to timely filing, amended Gas Tariff Rate Schedules in accordance with this Order.
