Ostergaard, Chair K.L. Hall, Commissioner N.F. Nicholls, Commissioner O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On December 10, 2002, Centra Gas Whistler Inc. (“Centra Whistler”) applied to the British Columbia Utilities Commission (“the Commission”) to increase its propane commodity charge from $11.613/GJ to $12.782/GJ, and to decrease Rider A from $0.987 per gigajoule to $0.569 per gigajoule, both effective January 1, 2003 on an interim basis (“the Application”); and B. Commission Order No. G-94-02 approved the Application for interim rates, subject to refund after review; and C. Centra Whistler requested that the Application be dealt with through the Commissions Negotiated Settlement Process; and D. The Commission requires that a regulatory process to deal with the Application be established. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. A Negotiated Settlement Process with respect to the Centra Whistler Application will commence at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2003, in Whistler, B.C. at The Coast Whistler Hotel. 2. Centra Whistler will publish, in display-ad format, the attached Notice of Negotiated Settlement Process (Appendix A), in local community newspapers in Whistler, B.C. by Friday, January 31, 2003.
