The Commission, by Order No. G-112-97, approved for BC Gas Utility Ltd. (“BC Gas”) Tariff Supplement No. E-10 Interruptible Transportation Agreement and Tariff Supplement No. I-5 Interruptible Natural Gas Liquefaction Agreement with International Forest Products Ltd. (“Interfor”) effective for the period November 1, 1997 to October 31, 2002; and B. On January 23, 2003, BC Gas applied to the Commission, pursuant to Sections 61 and 63 of the Utilities Commission Act, for approval as Tariff Supplement No. E-10 an amended and restated Interruptible Transportation Agreement for Rate Schedule 27 and as Tariff Supplement No. I-5 an amended and restated Interruptible Liquefied Natural Gas Agreement with Interfor effective November 1, 2002 to October 31, 2007; and C. The proposed rates for interruptible transportation and liquefaction service represent increases of $0.08 per GJ and $0.07 per GJ respectively, which reduce BC Gas cost of service; and D. BC Gas stated that the agreements that were in effect from 1997 to 2002 had no detrimental impact on its ability to meet peak shaving requirements; and . . ./2
2 E. The Commission has considered the Application and is satisfied that the amended agreements should be approved. NOW THEREFORE the Commission approves for BC Gas the amended and restated Rate Schedule 27 Interruptible Transportation Agreement with Interfor as Tariff Supplement No. E-10, and the amended and restated Interruptible Liquefied Natural Gas Agreement with Interfor as Tariff Supplement No. I-5 effective for the period November 1, 2002 to October 31, 2007.
