On January 12, 2001 by Order in Council No. 16, 2001, the Lieutenant Governor in Council (“LGIC”) gave the British Columbia Utilities Commission (“the Commission”) approval to issue an order to Williams Energy (Canada) Inc. (“Williams Canada”) to exempt from Part 3 of the Utilities Commission Act (“the Act”) other than Sections 24 and 25, its West Stoddart facilities including a sour gas processing plant, gas gathering pipelines, and a sales gas pipeline and natural gas liquids pipeline from the West Stoddart plant to Taylor, BC; and B. On January 25, 2001, the Commission approved the Williams Canada West Stoddart application for an exemption and issued Order No. G-13-01; and C. On August 25, 2003, Williams Canada advised the Commission that it had sold the West Stoddart plant and facilities to Canadian Natural Resources Limited effective July 1, 2003 and no longer required the exemption from the Act approved by Order No. G-13-01; and D. The Commission has considered the Williams Canada application and considers that an exemption from the Act is no longer required. . . ./2
