The Commission, by Order No. G-49-04, approved for the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (“ICBC”) the Negotiated Settlement of its Performance Measures and Basic Insurance Information Sharing Application (“the Application”); and B. On May 25, 2004, British Columbia Public Interest Advocacy Centre (“BCPIAC”) representing the British Columbia Old Age Pensioners’ Organization et al., applied for a Participant Assistance Cost Award for its participation in the Negotiated Settlement process; and C. The Commission has reviewed the request for cost award with regard to the criteria and rates set out in Commission Order No. G-15-04; and D. Commission staff have advised that BCPIAC participated in and contributed to the Negotiated Settlement process. . . ./2
2 NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards $15,975.64 to BCPIAC for its participation in the Negotiated Settlement process for ICBC’s Application for Performance Measures and Basic Insurance Information Sharing. 2. ICBC is directed to reimburse BCPIAC for the total amount awarded in a timely fashion.
