Kelsey, Commissioner K.L. Hall, Commissioner O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On November 26, 2004, Terasen Multi Utility Services Inc. (“TMUS” previously Sun Rivers Services Corp.) applied for approval to change the electric tariff rate schedules to customers at the Sun Rivers Resort Community near Kamloops, B.C. by an increase of 4.85 percent, effective November 1, 2004 (the “Application”); and B. Pursuant to Order No. C-5-99, the electric rates charged by TMUS are to be the same approved rate schedules charged by British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (“BC Hydro”) for the same classes of customers; and C. On October 29, 2004 and by Order No. G-96-04, the Commission issued its BC Hydro Revenue Requirements Decision approving permanent rates for BC Hydro effective April 1, 2004. On November 15, 2004 BC Hydro calculated the permanent rate increase to be 4.85 percent. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves for TMUS (Sun Rivers) a permanent increase in Electric Tariff rates to all customers of 4.85 percent, effective November 1, 2004. 2. TMUS is to advise all customers by way of a customer notice of the permanent increase in electric rates.
