Kelsey, Commissioner K.L. Hall, Commissioner September 24, 2004 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. Commission Order No. G-69-04 dated July 29, 2004 approved a propane Gas Supply Charge of $11.879/GJ and a Gas Cost Variance Account (“GCVA”) rate rider of $1.00/GJ; and B. On September 17, 2004 Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. (“PNG”) filed its Third Quarter Report on the GCVA for the Granisle Propane Service Area; and C. The 2004 Third Quarter Report requested approval of a $0.91/GJ increase to the Gas Supply Charge from $11.879/GJ to $12.789/GJ effective October 1, 2004. The GCVA Rider is to remain in place; and D. The requested rate change will increase the annual bill of a typical residential propane customer in Granisle by approximately 5.2 percent; and E. The Commission has concluded that the requested rate changes to the Granisle propane rate should be approved. . . . /2
2 NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves for the PNG Granisle Propane Grid System an increase in the Gas Supply Charge of $0.91/GJ to $12.789/GJ, effective October 1, 2004. 2. PNG is to file with the Commission amended Gas Tariff Rate Schedules in accordance with the approval given by this Order and to notify all affected customers of the rate change in a timely fashion.
