Kelsey, Commissioner K.L. Hall, Commissioner December 23, 2004 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. The Commission, by Order No. G-82-00, approved for British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (“BC Hydro”) Rate Schedule 1852: Transmission Service - Modified Demand (“Rate Schedule 1852”) effective September 7, 2000; and B. The Commission by Order No. G-128-01 approved certain amendments to Rate Schedule 1852 and to Rate Schedule 1880: Transmission Service - Emergency, Maintenance and Special Supply (“Rate Schedule 1880”) that would make Rate Schedule 1880 available to Rate Schedule 1852 customers; and C. The Commission by Order No. G-99-02 approved further amendments to Rate Schedule 1852 and to Rate Schedule 1880; and D. On December 21, 2004, the Commission received an application from BC Hydro for further amendments to Rate Schedule 1852 and Rate Schedule 1880 (“the Application”); and E. The proposed changes to Rate Schedule 1852 and Rate Schedule 1880 were jointly developed by BC Hydro and the only customer currently participating in Rate Schedule 1852; and . . ./2

The Application states that the revisions are required as a result of significant load growth by the customer which requires some adjustments to the demand limits proposed by the current contract, but which will not materially affect the principle terms and conditions of the Rate Schedule and agreement between BC Hydro and the customer; and G. The Commission is satisfied that the proposed amendments to Rate Schedule 1852 and Rate Schedule 1880 will be financially beneficial to participating transmission service customers, to BC Hydro, and to non-participating customers; and H. The Commission has considered the Application and finds that proposed changes to Rate Schedule 1852 and Rate Schedule 1880 should be approved. NOW THEREFORE the Commission approves BC Hydros application for amendments to Rate Schedules 1852 and 1880 effective January 1, 2005.
