British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (“BC Hydro”) filed on December 15, 2003, pursuant to the Utilities Commission Act (“the Act”), an application to increase its rates by 7.23 percent effective April 1, 2004 and by 2.00 percent effective April 1, 2005 (“the Application”); and B. Following a Pre-hearing Conference held on January 14, 2004, the Commission issued Order No. G-7-04 which established a regulatory timetable including a public hearing to deal with the Application; and C. The Commission has ordered BC Hydro to pay the costs incurred by Allwest Reporting Ltd. (“Allwest”) for court reporting and other hearing services associated with the oral public hearing into the Application; and D. On July 19, 2004, Allwest submitted Invoice No. R0365 for costs that it incurred on behalf of the Commission for telephone service at the oral public hearing into BC Hydros Revenue Requirements Application; and E. On September 8, 2004, Allwest submitted Invoices No. 0904 and R0378 for transcript and hearing room costs at the oral public hearing into the Application; and F. The Commission has reviewed the Invoices of Allwest and has verified them to be appropriate. . . ./2
2 NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 117 of the Act, the Commission awards funds to Allwest for its court reporting, transcript and hearing room services in support of the BC Hydro 2004/05 and 2005/06 Revenue Requirements application and oral public hearing at the Commissions Hearing Room at 855 Homer Street, in the amount of $9,929.90. 2. BC Hydro is directed to reimburse Allwest Reporting Ltd. for the total amount awarded in a timely fashion.
