Hobbs, Chair L.A. Boychuk, Commissioner January 25, 2005 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On November 19, 2004, British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (“BC Hydro”) submitted to the British Columbia Utilities Commission (“Commission”) the Electricity Purchase Agreement (“EPA”) and Vancouver Island Generation Project Transfer Agreement with Duke Point Power Limited Partnership (“Duke Point Power”) and a Report on the BC Hydro Call for Tenders on Vancouver Island (“CFT”) Process (“the CFT Report”, the Filing”); and B. The Commission held Pre-hearing Conferences and by Order No. G-106-04 established a Regulatory Agenda for the Filing; and C. The Proceeding commenced with a Town Hall Meeting on January 15, 2005 in Nanaimo, B.C. followed by oral public hearings commencing on January 17, 2005 in Vancouver, B.C.; and D. The Commission has ordered BC Hydro to pay the costs incurred by Allwest Reporting Ltd. (“Allwest”) for court reporting and other hearing room services associated with the Town Hall meeting and oral public hearing into the Filing; and E. On January 17 and 21, 2005, Allwest submitted Invoices No. 0120 and 0112 for transcript costs and hearing room services at the Town Hall meeting and oral public hearing into the Filing; and F. The Commission has reviewed the Invoices of Allwest and has verified them to be appropriate. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: . . ./2

Pursuant to Section 117 of the Act, the Commission awards funds to Allwest for its court reporting, transcript and hearing room services in support of the BC Hydros Call for Tenders filing at the Town Hall Meeting in Nanaimo, B.C. and oral public hearing at the Commissions Hearing Room at 855 Homer Street, in the amount of $60,171.60. 2. BC Hydro is directed to reimburse Allwest Reporting Ltd. for the total amount awarded in a timely fashion.
