On March 10, 2005, British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (“BC Hydro”) applied to the Commission for approval of its Transmission Service Rates (“Application”); and B. The Commission has reviewed the Application and finds that a Procedural Conference is required to determine the appropriate process and timetable for reviewing the Application. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. A Procedural Conference will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2005 commencing at 9:30 a.m. on the Third Floor of 855 Homer Street, Vancouver, B.C., to address procedural matters related to the Commission’s review of the Application. Matters to be discussed will include, but not be limited to, the following: • opportunities for a negotiated settlement process on certain issues; • appropriate process and regulatory timetable for the proceeding; and • other matters that will enable the Commission to efficiently review all aspects of the Application. …/2

BC Hydro will arrange for early publication, but not later than March 31, 2005 in display ad format, the Notice of Procedural Conference attached as Appendix A to this Order, in the Vancouver Sun, the Province, the Victoria Times Colonist and in such other appropriate news publications so as to provide adequate notice to the customers in the service area of the utility. 3. The Application and supporting material will be available for inspection at the Head Office of BC Hydro at 333 Dunsmuir Street, Vancouver, BC and at the British Columbia Utilities Commission, Sixth Floor, 900 Howe Street, Vancouver, B.C. and will be posted on the following web sites: http://www.bchydro.bc.ca. http:// www.bcuc.com 4.
