Kelsey, Commissioner September 22, 2005 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. Commission Letter L-14-03 dated April 16, 2003 directed Terasen Gas Inc (“Terasen Gas”) (formerly BC Gas Utility Ltd.) to proceed with the Stable Rate Option for residential customers effective November 1, 2004; and B. Order No. G-90-03 dated January 9, 2004 and effective April 1, 2004 approved the format of the Stable Commodity Rate (Rate Schedule - 1S) and the Stable Commodity Rate Agreement; and C. Order No. G-25-04 approved the deferral account treatment and cost recovery methodology for the implementation costs and annual operating costs of providing the Stable Commodity Rate Service program; and D. Order No. G-57-05 dated June 15, 2005 approved the Stable Commodity Rate Residential Service program for the period January 1, 2006 to December 31, 2006; and E. On September 19, 2005, Terasen Gas requested Commission approval of revisions to Rate Schedule 1S, effective September 26, 2005 for the 2006 calendar year offering; and F. On September 21, 2005, Terasen Gas filed a revised application for the Stable Commodity Rate Residential Service; and G. The Commission has reviewed the Terasen Gas filing and is satisfied that revisions to Rate Schedule 1S effective September 26, 2005 is appropriate and in the public interest. . . ./2
2 NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves for Terasen Gas, revisions to the Terasen Gas Stable Commodity Rate Residential Service, G-13-05 Rate Schedule 1S, as set out in the application from Terasen Gas dated September 21, 2005. The revisions are to be effective September 26, 2005 for the period of January 1, 2006 to December 31, 2006. 2. The Commission approves the fixed gas price for Rate Schedule 1S at $11.280/GJ.
