Pullman, Commissioner June 26, 2006 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. By letter dated April 20, 2006, Terasen Gas Inc. (“TGI”) wrote to the British Columbia Utilities Commission (“Commission”) seeking clarification on behalf of itself and its utility affiliates (Terasen Gas Inc., Terasen Gas (Vancouver Island) Inc., Terasen Gas (Whistler) Inc., and Terasen Gas (Squamish) Inc., and Terasen Multi-Utility Services Inc., collectively the “Terasen Utilities”) on certain conditions issued by the Commission in Order No. G-116-05 and the accompanying Decision dated November 10, 2005 approving the application by Kinder Morgan Companies; and B. By Letter No. L-30-06 dated June 26, 2006, the Commission responded to the Terasen Utilities, setting out the clarification requested; and C. The Decision did not address certain customer records of the Terasen Utilities that were located outside TGI’s service area at the time of the Decision. . . ./2
2 NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders that the location of data and servers providing service to the Terasen Utilities is to be restricted to Canada and that any proposal to locate data and servers providing services to the Terasen Utilities (including data and servers providing back-up services) outside Canada will require the Commission’s approval.
