On May 19, 2006, the Commission by Order No. G-58-06 issued its approval to the Negotiated Settlement Document (“NSP”) on FortisBC Inc.’s (“FortisBC”) 2006 Revenue Requirements Application and Multi-Year Performance Based Regulation Mechanism; and B. On May 26, 2006, Mr. Alan Wait applied for a cost award for his participation in the proceeding; and C. On June 14, 2006, the Commercial Energy Consumers (“CEC”) submitted a bill of costs for its participation in the proceeding; and D. On May 23, 2006, Mr. Richard Tarnoff, on behalf of Natural Resource Industries (“NRI”) applied for a cost award for his participation in the proceeding; and E. On June 16, 2006, the British Columbia Public Interest Advocacy Centre (“BCPIAC”) submitted a bill of costs on behalf of the BC Old Age Pensioners’ Organization (“BCOAPO”) for its participation in the proceeding; and F. On June 26, 2006, the Interior Municipal Electrical Utilities (“IMEU”) submitted a bill of costs on behalf of its member municipalities for its participation in the proceeding; and . . ./2
2 G. Commission staff have advised the Panel that the applicants participated in the proceeding and contributed to the NSP process; and H. The Commission has reviewed the applications for cost awards with regard to the criteria and rates set out in Order No. G-15-04. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds to the following applicants for their participation in FortisBC’s 2006 Revenue Requirements Application and Multi-Year Performance Based Regulation Mechanism.
