Kelsey, Commissioner September 29, 2006 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On September 15, 2006 Terasen Gas (Vancouver Island) Inc. (“TGVI”) proposed a regulatory timetable for its 2006 Settlement Update Meeting that included a filing of Settlement Update Materials by October 23, 2006, a Settlement Update Meeting on November 22, 2006 and a Commission Decision by December 15, 2006; and B. The meeting location’s space availability necessitates the Settlement Update Meeting to be held on November 21, 2006; and C. Commission Order No. G-126-05 approved for TGVI the Negotiated Settlement Agreement for the 2006-2007 Revenue Requirements; and D. The terms of the Negotiated Settlement Agreement for TGVI’s 2006-2007 Revenue Requirements included a Settlement Update Meeting to be held in November 2006. The purpose of the Settlement Update Meeting will be for TGVI to provide an update on the operations of TGVI through 2006 and the outlook for 2007, with customers being provided the opportunity to make submissions regarding these matters; and E. The regulatory timetable proposed by TGVI for the Settlement Update Meeting process takes into consideration the timetable for the upcoming Annual Review and Mid-Term Assessment Review for Terasen Gas Inc., recognizing there are many stakeholders who will be involved with both processes; and F. The Commission has reviewed the TGVI submission and considers that establishment of a regulatory timetable for the 2006 Settlement Update Meeting is warranted. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission will hold a 2006 Settlement Update Meeting to review TGVI’s operations through 2006 and 2007 Revenue Requirement Material commencing at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 in the Commission Hearing Room, 12 th Floor - 1125 Howe Street, Vancouver, B.C. 2. No later than Monday, October 23, 2006, TGVI is to provide interested parties and the Commission with . . . /2
2 advance information regarding the projections and forecasts to be presented at the 2006 Settlement Update Meeting. TGVI is to provide copies of the Settlement Update Materials to all parties who participated in the 2006-2007 Revenue Requirements Negotiated Settlement process. 3. Those persons wishing to participate in the TGVI 2006 Settlement Update Meeting are to advise the Commission Secretary in writing of their intention to do so, no later than Tuesday, November 14, 2006. 4. The deadlines for information requests and responses on the 2006 Settlement Update Materials are set out in the Regulatory Timetable attached as Appendix A to this Order.
