Kelsey, Commissioner May 18, 2006 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On March 3, 2006, Terasen Gas (Whistler) Inc. (“Terasen Whistler”) filed with the Commission Propane Supply contract with MP Energy Partnership (“MP Energy”) for the supply of liquid propane to the utility grid system at Whistler, B.C., pursuant to the Commission’s Rules on gas contracts and Section 71 of the Utilities Commission Act (“the Act”); and B. The propane supply contract covers the period from April 1, 2005 to March 31, 2007 and MP Energy will supply to Terasen Whistler approximately 30,000,000 litres of propane plus or minus 30%; and C. The possession of title to propane will pass from MP Energy to Terasen Whistler at the distribution storage tank at Whistler, B.C.; and D. The Commission has reviewed the propane supply contract (dated April 1, 2005) and the amendment (dated April 20, 2006) between Terasen Whistler and MP Energy and is satisfied that the agreement should be accepted. . . ./2
2 NOW THEREFORE the Commission approves for filing pursuant to the Commission’s Rules for gas contracts and Section 71 of the Utilities Commission Act. 1. The fully executed copy of the propane supply agreement between Terasen Gas (Whistler) Inc. and MP Energy Partnership for the period April 1, 2005 to March 31, 2007, for the supply of liquid propane to the Whistler propane grid system dated April 1, 2005. 2. The Amended Schedule A – Commodity and Transportation Charges – 2005/2006 and 2006/2007 from the propane supply agreement between MP Energy Partnership (”MP Energy”) and Terasen Gas (Whistler) Inc. dated April 20, 2006 for the period from April 1, 2005 to March 31, 2007 (Original contract submitted March 3, 2006). The Commission requests that Terasen Whistler file a report by July 31, 2006 to identify the propane volumes and prices paid for winter/summer purchases including storage for the 2006/07 contract period.
