Boychuk, Panel Chair and Commissioner October 13, 2006 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On November 30, 2005 Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. (“PNG”, “PNG-West”) applied to the Commission for approval of its 2006 Revenue Requirements (“the 2006 RR Application”) and to amend its rates on an interim and final basis, effective January 1, 2006, pursuant to Sections 89 and 58 of the Utilities Commission Act (“the Act”); and B. The Commission, by Order No. G-134-05, scheduled a Negotiated Settlement Process for the 2006 RR Application; and C. On August 16, 2006 the Commission, by Order No. G-99-06, approved for PNG the 2006 RR Application and issued its Reasons for Decision; and D. On April 13, 2006 the Haisla Nation submitted a bill of costs for its participation in the Negotiated Settlement and 2006 Revenue Requirements proceeding; and E. Commission staff have advised the Panel that the Haisla Nation participated in the PNG 2006 RR Application and Negotiated Settlement proceeding and contributed to the proposed Negotiated Settlement document; and . . ./2
2 F. The Commission has reviewed the application for a cost award with regard to the criteria and rates set out in Order No. G-15-04. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 118(1) of the Act, the Commission awards $7,356.00 to the Haisla Nation for its participation in PNG’s 2006 RR Application and Negotiated Settlement process. 2. PNG is directed to reimburse the Haisla Nation for the total amount of $7,356.00 in a timely fashion.
