Kelsey, Commissioner L.A. Zaozirny, Commissioner December 15, 2006 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. Commission Order No. G-110-04 approved for Terasen Gas Inc. (“Terasen Gas”) a Commercial Commodity Unbundling Deferred Cost Recovery Rate Rider 8 set at $0.056/GJ and a Stable Commodity Rate Residential Service Deferred Cost Recovery Rate Rider 9 set at $0.006/GJ, effective January 1, 2005. Rate Rider 8 is applicable to Rate Schedules 2, 2U, 3, and 3U customers (excluding Revelstoke and Fort Nelson) and Rate Rider 9 is applicable to Rate Schedules 1 and 1S customers within the Lower Mainland, Inland and Columbia service areas (excluding Revelstoke and Fort Nelson); and B. Commission Order No. G-146-05 approved a Rate Rider 8 set at $0.045/GJ and a Rate Rider 9 set at $.004/GJ, effective January 1, 2006; and C. In its Application dated December 6, 2006, Terasen Gas requests an extension of the original three-year amortization period for the Commercial Commodity Unbundling deferred implementation costs by one additional year to include 2008, and the resetting of Rate Rider 8 applicable to Rate Schedules 2, 2U, 3 and 3U customers, excluding Revelstoke and Fort Nelson, at $0.053/GJ effective January 1, 2007. The Application also requests approval to reset Rate Rider 9, applicable to Rate Schedule 1, and 1S customers within the Lower Mainland, Inland and Columbia service areas at $0.001/GJ effective January 1, 2007; and …/2
2 D. The Commission has reviewed the Application and concludes that changes are warranted. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. An extension of the original three-year amortization period for the Commercial Commodity Unbundling deferred implementation costs by one additional year to include 2008. 2. Rate Rider 8 applicable to Rate Schedules 2, 2U, 3, and 3U customers, excluding Revelstoke and Fort Nelson, is set at $0.053/GJ effective January 1, 2007. 3. Rate Rider 9 applicable to Rate Schedules 1 and 1S customers within the Lower Mainland, Inland and Columbia service areas, excluding Revelstoke and Fort Nelson, is set at $.001/GJ, effective January 1, 2007. 4. Terasen Gas is to provide information to all customers affected by the rate changes set out in this Order.
