Transmission Corporation, B.C. Hydro and Power Authority, Pacific Northern Gas Inc./Pacific Northern Gas (N.E.) Inc., FortisBC Inc., Terasen Gas Inc., and Terasen Gas (Vancouver Island) Inc. Major Utilities Regulated by British Columbia Utilities Commission Request that Applications Include Draft Orders In several recent applications to the Commission, applicants have included draft Orders setting out the actions that they were seeking from the Commission. These draft Orders have generally been found to be helpful, and assist the Commission in providing a timely response to the applications. In some cases, the draft Order may also clarify what the specific application is seeking. The Commission hereby requests that, whenever possible, in future applications, utilities include a draft form of the Order that it proposes the Commission issue on the matter. If it is likely that the Commission will establish a proceeding to deal with the application, a draft procedural Order and notice should also be included. The draft Orders should be filed electronically in WORD format. Your assistance will help the Commission ensure that a prompt response to your application is made. Yours truly, Original signed by Robert J. Pellatt JBW/dlf MiscCor/Utilities Draft Order Requirements
