On December 14, 2006 the Commission, by Order No. G-161-06 and attached Reasons for Decision, approved for Terasen Gas (Vancouver Island) Inc. (“TGVI”) its 2007 Rates, 2007 Cost of Service and Revenue Deficiency Deferral Account Balance as of December 31, 2005; and B. On December 21, 2006 the British Columbia Public Interest Advocacy Centre (“BCPIAC”), representing the British Columbia Old Age Pensioners Organization et al. (“BCOAPO”), applied for a Participant Assistance Cost Award (“PACA”) for its participation in the TGVI Application for its 2007 Rates, 2007 Cost of Service and Revenue Deficiency Deferral Account Balance as of December 31, 2005; and C. On January 2, 2007 TGVI reviewed the BCOAPO/BCPIAC PACA application for a cost award and advised that the PACA request was not unreasonable and did not have any comments to make; and D. The Commission has reviewed the BCOAPO/BCPIAC PACA application with regard to the criteria and rates set out in Commission Order No. G-15-04. …/2
2 NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds to BCOAPO/BCPIAC for its participation in the TGVI its 2007 Rates, 2007 Cost of Service and Revenue Deficiency Deferral Account Balance as of December 31, 2005 Application in the amount of $3,625.20. 2.
