Kelsey, Commissioner L.A. Zaozirny, Commissioner CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY WHEREAS: A. The Commission, by Order No. C-4-00, approved a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (“CPCN”) for Silver Star Mountain Resort Utilities Ltd. (“SSMRUL”), to operate a natural gas distribution system at the Resort Community of Silver Star; and B. By letter dated May 31, 2000, SSMRUL advised the Commission that SSMRUL had changed its legal name to Stargas Utilities Ltd. (“Stargas”) effective April 18, 2000; and C. By email dated September 27, 2006, Stargas requested that the CPCN issued for SSMRUL be amended to recognize the change of legal name (the “Application”); and D. The Commission has reviewed the Application and finds that approval is warranted. NOW THEREFORE pursuant to Section 45 of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission orders an amendment to the CPCN issued for SSMRUL by Commission Order C-4-00 to recognize that Stargas is the name of the public utility that operates the natural gas distribution system at the Resort Community of Silver Star.
