Kelsey, Commissioner L.A. Zaozirny, Commissioner October 26, 2006 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On June 3, 2004, FortisBC Inc. (“FortisBC”) inter alia requested approval of the Interconnection Facilities Agreement for British Columbia Hydro and Power Authoritys (“BC Hydro”) Kootenay Canal Substation dated the 5 th day of April, 2004 and made among FortisBC, BC Hydro, and British Columbia Transmission Corporation (the Interconnection Facilities Agreement”); and B. In the same application FortisBC filed the Interconnection Agreement between FortisBC and the British Columbia Transmission Corporation (“BCTC”); and C. On June 30, 2004, FortisBC inter alia requested that the Commission defer action on its June 3, 2004 application for approval of the Interconnection Facilities Agreement; and D. By Order No. G-65-04 the Commission approved this request and also deferred action for the filing of the Interconnection Agreement between FortisBC and BCTC; and E. In the Reasons for Decision attached to Order No. G-65-04, the Commission stated that FortisBC could reactivate its June 3, 2004 application for approval of the Agreements when it wished to do so; and . . ./2

On September 12, 2006, FortisBC requested that the Commission approve the Interconnection Facilities Agreement and that the Commission accept for filing the Interconnection Agreement between FortisBC and BCTC. NOW THEREFORE the Commission approves the Interconnection Facilities Agreement and accepts for filing the Interconnection Agreement between FortisBC Inc. and the British Columbia Transmission Corporation.
