Kelsey, Commissioner L.A. Zaozirny, Commissioner O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On June 1, 2006 the Commission, by Letter No. L-33-06, accepted for Terasen Gas Inc. (“Terasen Gas”) the 2006/07 Midstream Annual Gas Contracting Plan; and B. On October 23, 2006 by Order No. E-8-06, the Commission accepted Terasen Gas’ filing of its gas supply contracts for the 2006/07 Gas Contract Year for monthly and daily premiums for Midstream seasonal transactions, peaking contracts, storage, as well as monthly and daily price premiums for Commodity supply transactions; and C. Seasonal supply contracts for the summer months April 1 to October 31, 2007 were to be purchased before summer 2007; and D. On March 16, 2007 Terasen Gas filed with the Commission the remainder of the summer seasonal gas commodity contracts for the period April 1 to October 31, 2007; and E. The Commission has reviewed the Terasen Gas filing and is satisfied that the gas supply contracts are consistent with the 2006/07 Midstream Annual Contracting Plan and are appropriate considering market prices at the time the contracts were negotiated. NOW THEREFORE the Commission accepts pursuant to Section 71 of the Utilities Commission Act and the Commission’s Energy Supply Contract Rules, the March 16, 2007 Terasen Gas filing of natural gas supply contracts identified in Appendix A (attached) for the period April 1 to October 31, 2007.
