Kelsey, Commissioner L.A. Zaozirny, Commissioner June 7, 2007 O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On November 30, 2005, Commission Order No. G-126-05 approved for Terasen Gas (Vancouver Island) Inc. (“TGVI”) a Negotiated Settlement for its 2006/07 Revenue Requirements and the Revenue Deficiency Deferral Account Balance as at December 31, 2004; and B. On January 22, 2007, TGVI applied to the Commission to extend the terms of its 2006 and 2007 Negotiated Settlement Agreement by a further two years to 2008 and 2009; and C. The Commission by Order No. G-34-07 approved TGVIs application; and D. On April 13, 2007, the British Columbia Public Interest Advocacy Centre (“BCPIAC”), representing the British Columbia Old Age Pensioners Organization et al. (“BCOAPO”), applied for a Participant Assistance Cost Award (“PACA”) for its participation in the TGVI Application; and E. On April 19, 2007, TGVI reviewed the BCOAPO PACA Application for a cost award and advised that the PACA funding requested from BCOAPO was not unreasonable; and F. The Commission has reviewed the BCPIAC PACA Application with regard to the criteria and rates set out in Commission Order No. G-15-04. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds to BCOAPO/BCPIAC for its participation in the TGVI extension of the Terms of the 2006 and 2007 Negotiated Settlement to 2008 and 2009 in the amount of $2,988.88. 2. TGVI is to reimburse BCPIAC for the total amount awarded in a timely fashion. DATED at the City of Vancouver, in the Province of British Columbia, this 7 th day of June 2007. BY ORDER L.F.
