O’Hara, Commissioner O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On October 26, 2006, Pacific Northern Gas (N.E.) Ltd. [“PNG(N.E.)”] Fort St. John/Dawson Creek and Tumbler Ridge Divisions filed for approval of its 2007 Revenue Requirements Application (“the Application”). PNG(N.E.) proposed to amend its rates on an interim and final basis, effective January 1, 2007, pursuant to Sections 89 and 58 of the Utilities Commission Act; and B. By Order No. G-56-07 and Reasons for Decision the Commission approved the October 26, 2006, PNG(N.E.) 2007 Revenue Requirements Application; and C. On May 17, 2007, the British Columbia Public Interest Advocacy Centre, on behalf of its client, The BC Old Age Pensioners Organization et al., applied for a Participant Assistance Cost Award (“PACA”) for its participation in the PNG(N.E.) application; and D. The Commission has reviewed the BCPIAC PACA application with regard to the criteria and rates set out in Commission Order No. G-72-07. 2 NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. Pursuant to Section 118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission awards funds to BCPIAC for its participation in the PNG(N.E.) 2007 Revenue Requirements proceeding in the amount of $7,075.50. 2. PNG(N.E.) is to reimburse BCPIAC for the total amount awarded in a timely fashion.
