Kelsey, Commissioner P.E. Vivian, Commissioner O R D E R WHEREAS: A. On February 25, 2008, British Columbia Transmission Corporation (“BCTC”) applied for approval of a tariff change to Attachment P of its Open Access Transmission Tariff (“OATT”); and B. Attachment P specifies transmission and interconnection service procedures for a CEAP (such as a Call for Tender) by the Network Customer (i.e. British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority or BC Hydro”); and C. A CEAP participant is a proponent of a generation resource that applies to interconnect its resource to the transmission system for the purpose of responding to a BC Hydro Call for Tender; and D. The requested Tariff change will reduce the amount of information required from a CEAP participant and will provide for electronic submission of information; and E. 2 F. BC Hydro submitted comments on the BCTC Application on February 27, 2008, and was the only party to do so; and G. BC Hydro supports the application and agrees with BCTC that the changes proposed in the Application will streamline the interconnection process for CEAP participants and BCTC; and H. The Commission has reviewed the BCTC Application and the submissions of BC Hydro and has determined that approval of the Application is in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows: 1. The Commission approves the Application effective the date of this Order. 2. BCTC is to file in a timely manner, amended Tariff pages in accordance with this Order.
