On March 31, 2009 FortisBC submitted a Revised Code of Conduct and Transfer Pricing Policy for the British Columbia Utilities Commission (“Commission”) approval; and B. By letter dated August 27, 2009 the BC Old Age Pensioners’ Association, BC Coalition of People with Disabilities, Council of Senior Citizens’ Organizations, Federated Anti‐Poverty Groups of BC, and Tenant Resource and Advisory Centre (“BCOAPO”) applied to the Commission for a Participant Assistance/Cost Award totaling $3,015.25; and C. By letter to the Commission dated September 16, 2009, FortisBC stated that it had no comment concerning the BCOAPO Participant Assistance/Cost Award application; and D. The Commission has reviewed the Participant Assistance/Cost Award application, the comments of FortisBC, and the criteria and rates set out in Order G‐72‐07. NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission approves for BCOAPO a Participant Assistance/Cost Award in the amount of $3,015.25 for participation in the proceeding. FortisBC is to reimburse BCOAPO for the amount awarded in a timely manner.
