Terasen Gas Inc. and AECO Gas Storage Partnership and Appendix FSS

O  R  D  E  R

 

WHEREAS:

 

A.      The British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) accepted the Terasen Gas Inc. (TGI) 2010/11 Annual Gas Contracting Plan (ACP) by Letter L-62-10 dated August 26, 2010;

 

B.      On October 5, 2010, TGI signed the AECO Hub Tariff Version 10-04, and on November 10, 2010, TGI signed the associated Appendix FSS (collectively the Niska Agreement);

 

C.      On December 6, 2010, TGI submitted for approval by the Commission the Niska Agreement to replace a portion of TGI’s Carbon storage contract which is expiring March 31, 2011;

 

D.      On December 20, 2010, TGI filed an Errata providing corrections to the original filing;

 

E.       TGI has requested that the documents associated with the filing remain confidential due to their commercially sensitive nature as described in the filing’s cover letter;

 

F.       The Commission reviewed the TGI’s filing and is satisfied that the Niska Agreement between TGI and AECO Gas Storage Partnership is appropriate and consistent with the ACP.

 


 

 

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 71 of the of the Utilities Commission Act and the Commission’s Rules for Natural Gas Energy Supply Contracts, the Commission accepts for filing the executed Niska Agreement between Terasen Gas Inc. and AECO Gas Storage Partnership and the associated Appendix FSS.  The Commission will keep confidential the documents associated with the filing due to their commercially sensitive nature as stated in TGI’s cover letter.
