for Approval of the Storage Agreement between

Terasen Gas Inc. and Aitken Creek Gas Storage ULC

O  R  D  E  R

 

WHEREAS:

 

A.      On August 26, 2009 the British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission), by Letter L-58-09, accepted for Terasen Gas Inc. (Terasen Gas) its 2009/10 Annual Gas Contracting Plan; and

 

B.      On January 27, 2010, Terasen Gas applied to the Commission for approval to replace an expiring Aitken Creek Storage Agreement with the Aitken Creek Gas Storage ULC; and

 

C.      The Commission has reviewed the Terasen Gas filing and is satisfied that the Storage Agreement between Terasen Gas and Aitken Creek Gas Storage ULC is appropriate and in the public interest.

 

 

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 71 of the Utilities Commission Act and the Commission’s Rules for Natural Gas Energy Supply Contracts, the Commission accepts for filing the Storage Agreement between Terasen Gas and Aitken Creek Gas Storage ULC.
