O  R  D  E  R

 

WHEREAS:

A.   On August 26, 2009, the British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) by Letter L-59-09, accepted for Terasen Gas (Vancouver Island) Inc. (TGVI) the 2009/10 Annual Gas Contracting Plan; and

B.    On November 13, 2009, TGVI filed with the Commission for acceptance the baseload and seasonal supply allocation between monthly and daily priced contracts as well as the monthly and daily market premiums for baseload, seasonal, and peaking transactions not yet accepted by the Commission; and

C.    The Commission has reviewed the TGVI filing and is satisfied that the supply allocation and the gas supply contract premiums are appropriate and in the public interest.

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 71 of the Utilities Commission Act and the Commission’s Rules for Natural Gas Energy Supply Contracts, the Commission accepts the natural gas contracts shown in Appendix A to this Order.
