IN THE MATTER OF

An Application by FortisBC Inc. for approval of Mitigation Plans

required for compliance with Mandatory Reliability Standards

O  R  D  E  R

 

WHEREAS:

 

A.      Commission Order G-67-09 required entities subject to approved Mandatory Reliability Standards to file Mitigation Plans outlining how they plan to meet compliance with standards they were not in compliance with;

 

B.      On December 1, 2010, the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (the WECC) recommended that FortisBC Inc. requests for completion extensions for the following standards be approved:

 

PRC-001-1 R1 (Completion extension to October 14, 2011)

PRC-001-1 R3 (Completion extension to October 14, 2011)

PRC-001-1 R4 (Completion extension to October 14, 2011);

 

C.      On November 8, 2010, and  December 1, 2010 the WECC recommended completion attestations for mitigation plans for the following standards be accepted:

 

PRC-007-0 R1

EOP-001-0 R4

EOP-003-1 R8.

 


 

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 125.2 (10) of the Utilities Commission Act, the British Columbia Utilities Commission accepts the WECC recommendations and approves the mitigation plans for extensions and completion as listed above.
