BCTC ILM CPCN –

Court of Appeal Reconsideration        Exhibit A-34

TO:         British Columbia Transmission Corporation

                BCTC ILM CPCN Registered Intervenors

Re:  British Columbia Transmission Corporation (BCTC)

Project No. 3698506/Letter No. L-20-09

Interior to Lower Mainland (ILM) Transmission Project

Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN)

___________Court of Appeal Reconsideration____________

By letter dated April 8, 2010 BCTC, in response to Commission Letter L-23-10, requests an extension to its Reply Argument deadline of April 19, 2010.  Upon review of the submitted Intervener Arguments, BCTC does not feel it will be able to file its Reply Argument by the current deadline.  Accordingly, BCTC requests an extension of its Reply Argument deadline to noon on Monday, April 26, 2010.

By letters dated April 8, 2010, both BC Hydro and the Ministry of Attorney General for the Province of British Columbia submitted requests for extensions of their Reply Arguments.  They support BCTC’s request and, for the same reasons stated in the BCTC letter, also request an extension to the Reply Argument deadline to noon on Monday, April 26, 2010.

The Commission Panel accepts the requests for an extension.  Reply Arguments are to be filed on or before noon on Monday, April 26, 2010.

The Commission Panel had set tentative dates for the Oral Phase of Argument on April 28 and 29, 2010 (Transcript Volume 16, page 2365).  Unfortunately, due to other hearings occurring around this time period, the Commission is unable to hold the Oral Phase on April 28 and 29, 2010.  The tentative dates for the Oral Phase are re-scheduled to Wednesday, June 2, 2010 and Thursday, June 3, 2010.

                                                                                                                                Yours truly,
