IN THE MATTER OF

An Application by Corix Multi-Utility Services Inc.

for Approval of a Propane Fuel Supply and Equipment Contract

and a Fixed Price Rider for Panorama Mountain Resort

O  R  D  E  R

WHEREAS:

 

A.        By Order G-61-10 dated April 1, 2010, the British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) approved for Corix Multi-Utility Services Inc. (Corix) a Gas Cost Recovery Charge of $17.857 per gigajoule for propane service at Panorama Mountain Resort (Panorama), effective April 1, 2010;

 

B.        By Order G-62-10 dated April 1, 2010, the Commission approved a Propane Annual Contracting Plan for Panorama and directed Corix to file the supply contracts it enters into under the Propane Annual Contracting Plan with the Commission;

 

C.        On July 2, 2010, Corix filed a Fuel Supply and Equipment Agreement with Superior Propane dated April 1, 2010 for the supply of variable priced propane for the period April 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011 (the Fuel Supply and Equipment Agreement);

 

D.        On October 5, 2010, Corix filed a Fixed Price Rider with Superior Propane dated June 1, 2010 (the Fixed Price Rider), that amends the Fuel Supply and Equipment Agreement;

 

E.         On November 9 and December 23, 2010, Corix filed additional information in support of the Fixed Price Rider;

 

F.         Corix requests that the Fuel Supply and Equipment Agreement, the Fixed Price Rider and related information be held confidential because of the commercial sensitivity of the information;

 

G.       The Commission has reviewed the submissions by Corix, and has determined that the filed Panorama propane supply arrangements are appropriate and in the public interest.

 

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 71 of the Utilities Commission Act the Commission accepts the Fuel Supply and Equipment Contract and Fixed Price Rider as energy supply contracts.  The Commission will keep confidential the energy supply contracts and related information filed by Corix.
