O  R  D  E  R

 

WHEREAS:

 

A.             The British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) approved the FortisBC Energy Inc. (FEI) Rate Schedule 30 Off-System Interruptible Sales Rate Schedule and Agreement (BC, Alberta, USA Sales) in Commission Order G-89-03, dated December 18, 2003;

 

B.             FEI uses the GasEDI base contract set out in Rate Schedule 30 together with FEI’s set of Standard Provisions as the starting point for negotiation with counterparties with whom FEI wishes to execute off-system sales or purchase agreements;

 

C.             The FEI set of Standard Provisions have evolved over time from those contained in Rate Schedule 30 to respond to changing industry standards and practices;

 

D.             On September 16, 2011, FEI filed revised Rate Schedule 30 Tariff pages to reflect the current standard provisions used with the third parties for off-system sales or purchases;

 

E.              The subject Tariff pages were further revised on November 10, 2011.

 

 

NOW THEREFORE the Commission approves for FortisBC Energy Inc. the amended Rate Schedule 30, as filed in the September 16, 2011 Application and revised November 10, 2011, to be effective the date of this Order.
