for Approval of Mitigation Plans required for Compliance with Mandatory Reliability Standards

O  R  D  E  R

WHEREAS:

 

A.       British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) Order G-67-09 required Entities, subject to approved Mandatory Reliability Standards, to file Mitigation Plans (MP) outlining how they plan to meet compliance with standards they were not in compliance with;

 

B.       By letters dated February 10, 2011, the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) recommended that the Commission approve the following for Catalyst Paper – Elk Falls Division:

 

         Acceptance of the MP with a completion date of September 15, 2011 for PRC-005-1, Requirement 1;

         Acceptance of the MP with a completion date of September 15, 2011 for PRC-008-0, Requirements 1, 2;

 

C.       The Commission has considered the recommendations put forward by WECC for Catalyst Paper – Elk Falls Division.

 

 

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 125.2 (10) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission accepts the WECC recommendations and approves the mitigation plans as listed above.
