for Registration as Responsible Entity for the Purchasing Selling Entity Function

required for compliance with Mandatory Reliability Standards

O  R  D  E  R

 

WHEREAS:

 

A.    Order G-123-09 approved the Registration Manual for entities subject to adopted Mandatory Reliability Standards and required that entities subject to the standards register with the Commission by December 31, 2009;

 

B.       The Registration Manual requires that the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) in its role as the Mandatory Reliability Standards Administrator review and recommend registration for all applicable Entities and allow 21 days for Entities to comment to the Commission on the WECC’s recommendations;

 

C.       On March 24, 2011 the WECC resubmitted its recommendation to the Commission recommending that the Commission approve Shell Energy North America (US) L.P.’s Registration for Purchasing Selling Entity;

 

D.       Shell Energy North America (US) L.P. did not dispute the recommendations.

 

 

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 125.2 of the Utilities Commission Act the Commission approves functional registration for Shell Energy North America (US) L.P. as recommended by the WECC.
