Natural Gas Vehicle Incentives Review

O  R  D  E  R

WHEREAS:

A.    On March 31, 2011, FortisBC Energy Inc. and FortisBC Energy (Vancouver Island) Inc. (FEI/FEVI, the Companies) submitted their Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EEC) Program 2010 Annual Report as a compliance filing in accordance with British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) Order G-36-09.  In the cover letter to the Report FEI/FEVI requests the Commission address the Companies’ use of EEC funds as incentives for Natural Gas Vehicles (NGVs) at the earliest possible date;

B.     On April 18, 2011, the Commission issued Letter L-30-11 which indicated the Commission would initiate a regulatory process to review and determine the appropriateness of the Companies’ use of EEC funds as NGV incentives;

C.     On April 20, 2011, the Commission issued Order G-70-11 establishing a Written Public Hearing process according to the Regulatory Timetable set out in Appendix A to that Order;

D.    The Commission has determined that changes to the Regulatory Timetable are required.

NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders the Written Public Hearing process for this matter is amended according to the Regulatory Timetable set out in Appendix A to this Order.
