O R D E R
WHEREAS:
A. The British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) approved the renewal of Connect Energy Partnership’s Gas Marketer Licence, subject to conditions, by Order A-19-12 on October 4, 2012;
B. On July 9, 2013, Connect Energy Partnership applied to the Commission to terminate its Gas Marketer Licence A‑19-12. Connect Energy Partnership confirmed they have no customers or future enrollments. FortisBC Energy Inc. confirmed there are no gas supply issues or considerations with respect to terminating Connect Energy Partnership’s licence;
C. The Commission is not aware of any current complaints or disputes against Connect Energy Partnership;
D. The Commission has reviewed Connect Energy Partnership’s application and determines approval is warranted.
NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 71.1(6) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission approves the termination of Connect Energy Partnership’s Gas Marketer Licence A-19-12, effective immediately.
