FortisBC Energy Inc. and Aitken Creek Gas Storage ULC

O R D E R

WHEREAS:

 

A.       By Letter L-45-12 dated August 2, 2012, the British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) accepted the FortisBC Energy Inc. (FEI) 2012/13 Annual Contracting Plan (ACP);

 

B.       On April 3, 2013, FEI applied to the Commission for approval to replace an expiring Aitken Creek Storage agreement with a new 10 year Aitken Creek Gas Storage ULC Agreement (Agreement);

 

C.       FEI requested that the filing and associated documents remain confidential due to their commercially sensitive nature;

 

D.       The Commission reviewed the FEI filing and is satisfied that the Agreement between FEI and Aitken Creek Gas Storage ULC is consistent with the ACP and in the public interest.

 

 

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to Section 71 of the Utilities Commission Act and the Commission’s Rules for Natural Gas Energy Supply Contracts, the Commission accepts for filing the executed copy of the Agreement between FortisBC Energy Inc. and Aitken Creek Gas Storage ULC.  The Commission will keep the filing and associated documents confidential due to their commercially sensitive nature.
