Application for Approval to Acquire Central Heat Distribution Limited

 

 

BEFORE:                 L.F. Kelsey, Commissioner                                                  October 29, 2013

                               

O  R  D  E  R

 

WHEREAS:

 

A.       On September 17, 2013, Creative Energy Canada Platforms Corp. (Creative Energy) applied to the British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) for approval to acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Central Heat Distribution Limited (CHDL), which would result in CHDL becoming a direct, wholly owned subsidiary of Creative Energy (Application);

 

B.       A regulatory timetable to review the Application was established by Commission Order G-163-13, which includes one round of Information Requests (IRs);

 

C.       The Commission submitted IRs to Creative Energy on October 15, 2013, however no Intervener IRs were submitted in this proceeding;

 

D.       By email dated October 28, 2013, Creative Energy sought an extension for the filing of their responses to the Commission IRs;

 

E.        The Commission has reviewed the request and determines that an extension should be granted.

 

 

NOW THEREFORE the Commission orders as follows:

 

1.       Creative Energy must respond to the Commission Information Requests on or before Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 4:00 p.m.
