Re:  An Application by Pacific Northern Gas Ltd.

and Pacific Northern Gas (N.E.) Ltd. (PNG Consolidated)

British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) Order G-196-12 established a Regulatory Timetable for the review of the Application by Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. and Pacific Northern Gas (N.E.) Ltd. (PNG Consolidated) for 2012 Pension and Non-Pension Benefits (Application).

On February 26, 2013, PNG Consolidated filed a letter requesting a variance to the Regulatory Timetable and proposed revised deadlines.  On February 26, 2013, the British Columbia Pensioners’ and Seniors’ Organization, Active Support Against Poverty, BC Coalition of People with Disabilities, Counsel of Senior Citizens’ Organizations of BC, and the Tenant Resource and Advisory Centre (collectively the BCPSO et al.), a registered intervener in this proceeding filed an email in support of PNG’s proposed revisions and the Commission issued a Revised Regulatory Timetable in Letter L-7-13.

On April 12, 2013, PNG filed a letter requesting a further variance to the Revised Regulatory Timetable and proposed revised deadlines for argument submissions.

The Commission Panel has reviewed PNG’s request and the BCPSO’s comment and issues the Amended Revised Regulatory Timetable that is attached as Appendix A. 

We remind PNG that it should request an extension well before the due date provided so the Commission can take action on the request before the deadline occurs.
