Dear Ms. Martin:

Re: FortisBC Inc.

Polychlorinated Biphenyl (PCB) Mitigation Program

Semi-Annual Progress Report No. 3 – Extension Request

In its Decision on the FortisBC Inc. 2012-2013 Revenue Requirements and Review of 2012 Integrated System Plan issued on August 15, 2012, the Commission states it “...is concerned about the estimate quality and control of actual costs associated with the PCB Mitigation project, and directs FortisBC to file a comprehensive scope and schedule for this project by October 1, 2012 and semi-annual progress reports thereafter.” (Decision, p. 99)

In a letter dated October 28, 2013, FortisBC indicates that due to operational priorities, it is unable to meet the filing deadline at this time and requests an extension to file its semi-annual Progress Report No. 3 for the PCB Mitigation Program until November 30, 2013.

The Commission has considered the request and grants the extension until November 30, 2013.

                                                                                                                                Yours truly,
