O  R  D  E  R

WHEREAS:

A.      On August 1, 2014, the FortisBC Energy Utilities (FEU) applied to the British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) for removal of the restriction on the location of data and servers providing service to the FEU (Application) based on the FEU’s view that the restriction is no longer necessary and that removal is required to ensure consistency with other utilities in British Columbia, and to enable the FEU to source information and technology solutions to provide the best value and benefit for customers;

B.      By Order G-126-14 dated August 29, 2014, the Commission established a written public hearing process and a regulatory timetable for the registration of interveners and for the review of the Application;

C.      By Order G-150-14 dated September 24, 2014, the Commission amended the Regulatory Timetable for an extension to provide adequate time for customers in affected service areas to register and participate in the public process ;

D.      In Order G-150-14, the Commission indicated that further process will be determined after the FEU responses to information requests (IR) No. 1;

E.       On November 18, 2014, subsequent to the FEU IR No. 1 responses filed on November 12, 2014, the Commission advised interveners of its proposal to proceed to final submissions and sought intervener comments should they require an opportunity to ask further questions on the Application; and

F.       The Commission did not receive any comments from interveners and considers that establishing a regulatory timetable for final submissions is warranted.

NOW THEREFORE, in accordance with the regulatory timetable attached as Appendix A of this order, the Commission establishes the final submissions phase for the FortisBC Energy Utilities Application.

DATED at the City of Vancouver, In the Province of British Columbia, this            26th        day of November 2014.
