Dear Ms. Miller:

Re: Sun Peaks Utilities Co., Ltd.

Filing of Commodity Cost Reports

in Compliance with Commission Order G-103-14

The BC Utilities Commission (Commission) acknowledges receipt of the Sun Peaks Utilities Co., Ltd. (SPUCL) commodity cost filing dated November 14, 2014 in compliance with Commission Order G-103-14. The Commission reviewed the filing and accepts SPUCL’s recommendation that the Gas Commodity Charge remain unchanged at this time.

By May 16, 2015, SPUCL is requested to file with the Commission a report on the Gas Cost Recovery Account balances, updated forecast propane costs for the following 12 months, and, if necessary, proposed changes to commodity rates to be effective June 1, 2015.

The report should also include an update on the status of options being evaluated to convert the community of Sun Peaks to natural gas. If a conversion is likely within the following twelve months, SPUCL should describe its plans for transitioning the Gas Commodity Charge and outstanding Gas Cost Recovery Account balances from a propane based system to a natural gas based system, including the treatment of all commodity related costs.

                                                                                                                                Yours truly,
